Lonesome Traveler: The Concert - The Roots of American Folk Music with special guest star & folk legend Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary!
Experience the enduring power and popularity of American folk music, with the acclaimed musical that tells the story of an ever changing America. With special guest Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul & Mary), the show that the New York Times calls "illuminating, revelatory and beautiful," celebrates the music of Woody Guthrie, The Limeliters, Peter, Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Crosby Stills and Nash, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and Simon & Garfunkel, with a special tribute to Leonard Cohen. Charismatic singers and instrumentalists return us to a time when music brought us together. This unforgettable concert event, with multi-media projections, take us from the 1920´s to the 1970´s and features songs such as If I Had A Hammer, This Land Is Your Land, This Little Light of Mine, Blowin In The Wind, Turn, Turn, Turn and Hallelujah. An inspiring afternoon of great music, Lonesome Traveler presents a revealing perspective of the roots forever embedded in our culture.

Singer songwriter Noel Paul Stookey has been altering both the musical and ethical landscape of this country and the world for decades, both as the "Paul" of the legendary Peter, Paul and Mary and as an independent musician who passionately believes in bringing the spiritual into the practice of daily life. Funny, irreverently reverent, thoughtful, compassionately passionate, Stookey´s voice is known all across this land: from the "Wedding Song (There Is Love)" to "If I Had A Hammer," "Puff The Magic Dragon" and "Leaving On A Jet Plane."
