Dear Mr. Stookey; Your concert was a gift from my bride and arrived at just the right moment. In a time of dark failed government and open crimes against humanity; it was also the 24th anniversary our blind date; 25th of 9/11; a neighbor and friend surviving a cardiac arrest, the celebration of life of the last person who brought me back to Boston, and days in Hokkaido with my daughter and grandson. A PBS fundraiser early August with you and your original trio took DG and I back to happier days; she bought tickets on the spot for your concert at the Kate in Old Saybrook, CT. Outside was is its annual memorial - 2,977 flags, in memory of every life lost on 9/11 and a book with the names and biographies of the victims. Your music was our coming of age and the emotions of America's ongoing journey. You announced intermission and that we’d return in 45 minutes. Then you introduced us to your latest project and the Manulenjo,and the story about writing of the Marriage Song..
