Dear Noel Paul, Like many people in multiple generations, I grew up with your music. It is uplifting and positive. I got to hear you speak at Folk Alliance International in KC 2024. After the speech I followed you to the elevator and got to shake your hand and gift you one of our albums as a thank you for all the beautiful moments of song. I am writing now having just finished reading multiple books on Martin Luther King, Jr. His story and mission still ripple through our world, especially now more than ever. Your influence on my life cannot be measured. Brought up on pp&m, helped make me who I became. (Became a pretty good person - gentle, compassionate, understanding, helpful, generous, kind, etc.) Raised on folk music - records and eventually 8-tracks. You'll never remember this, but you performed at a small quaker college in Richmond, Indiana years (and many years) ago. (Earlham College) Not only was I blessed by hearing you playing to a very small, but appreciative audience, I was asked to accompany you to the house in which you'd spend the night. One of the biggest highlights of my life was walking with you about half a mile and talking. I couldn't thank you enough at that time - I still can't. Great chat - thank you. Meant the world to me. When I reflect on it, still I cannot believe my luck at being the one chosen to guide you. I immediately returned to my house and called my mom. She, of course, was beside herself. She's been gone for years, I, myself, am still beside myself. Thank you so very much for all the gifts you've shared with the world - and that little bit of time you shared just with me. I'm a grown woman, but I still feel like a child when I think on it - and still brings me to tears. Thank you

Wondering if Noel Paul Stookey ever comes to Texas? Have loved the Wedding Song for a number of years as well as many of the other Peter, Paul & Mary songs.

Noel Paul, I have been a longtime fan, the first time I saw you and Peter and Mary perform was at Avery Fisher Hall, what I believe was Sunday, October 19, 1980 and have seen you perhaps three dozen times since. I attended one of your performances earlier this year at The Freight and, well, sir, you were just utterly terrific. I really had such a great time, you are sounding in very fine form. So, I would like to encourage you to please come back to The Bay Area, whether it's The Freight or another venue — all of us would welcome you back with open arms. Wishing you well and continued good health.

Mr. Stookey, I wrote you late 2024, as I was gonna use "There is Love" at our grandson's Maui coast wedding. I massaged it just a bit, managing to work in, " Jelena and Elias are here before us now." Just read an interview with you about the times; wasn't that a wonderful time. Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you (1 for each of PP&M), for your enormous contribution. Still, as all things must pass and every year brings the passing of the architects and builders of those times. Now I miss Bob Weir and Country Joe McDonald (saw 'em both at Newport in '68). And Arlo's got a birthday now. "Oh, death, won't you spare me over to another year." but I know that by 2037, when I hit 90, the song that was me will be only an echo. But it was a WONDERFUL time. Hello Noel - I just read the recent interview you did with Rolling Stone. It brought back many fond memories of PP&M, and I think that it is high time that I thanked you for all the great music and all your support for the peace, justice, and social change movements over the years. (I was able to thank Peter personally in 2016 when he played the Philly Folk Fest. He invited the entire Fest up on stage for Puff -- and hundreds got up there with him and all of us sang our hearts out -- and I was fortunate to meet and talk with him briefly afterward.) I was at the PP&M show at Bucknell U. on May 8, 1970, just days after the Kent State murders when thousands of students were on strike. An unforgettable show! Such raw emotions that night! I have been involved in the May 4 movement ever since. I sang Talkin' Candy Bar Blues at my high school "senior day" along with Phil Ochs' Draft Dodger Rag, finishing with The Great Mandala. I was also at Kent State in 1995 when PP&M did a benefit show to fund the scholarships that were established in the names of murdered students, Allison, Jeffrey, Bill, and Sandy. Your generosity was wonderful. And in between, I've enjoyed listening to you and PP&M for many decades. You have been an inspiration for my life and my politics. Thank you, Paul. Thank you, Noel. Do you recall PP&M performing in a tent for a Chadds Ford PA event in the 60s (possibly Wyeth’s Birthday)? There’s no record of it and I’m the only one in my family who remembers being there. So I hope I didn’t just dream it up ;) I also saw you perform with a band sometime after ‘Paul &" came out.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I'd recently found your old groups music due to 500 miles having trended in the art community recently, especially since i am probably on the younger side of your fans being only 17 at the time of writing this. Listening to your guys' music has brought me so much inspiration in my art and writing and has truly brought me a comfort that never seems to fade as long as it plays. It has made me think more about the world around me and given me a new appreciation for such things. Thank you to both you and those who are not here to hear such thanks for what you've given to this world with your voices. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Noel! I had the pleasure of meeting you briefly Saturday night after your and Anna's "Listening for the Notes" performance at the Rubicon in Ventura. I was there with my (and Anna's) friend Stephanie and you greeted us so warmly. I had only a moment to mention PP&M was my first ever major concert event, and that I too was a guitarist. You mentioned I must have heard all the mistakes, but I didn't get to give you the complement of admiring how much your commitment to your performance rendered any 'bumps' utterly irrelevant to the music and the message – "The Notes," if you will. Thank you both for a wonderfully inspiring evening. It harkened me back to the amazing experience of singing "Rock My Soul..." with you and 5 or 10,000+ other people in three part harmony, back in 1969. I have spent the last couple days learning "In These Times" and look forward to playing it with an acknowledgement of you and the faith in us all that you inspire. Thank you!
