Noel, thank you for the song, April Fool. For decades your faith journey has challenged my own, your willingness to both embrace and affirm God at work in so many dark corners has set me to looking as well. Thanks for being open along the way.

What a nice song, especially around the Easter holiday. Karla Thibodeau does her lovely harmony vocals throughout all of the Bodyworks recordings and she blends so well with Noel's voice. Have you seen the video Noel made a couple years ago? https://youtu.be/M-sTR98xoXE Thank you very much for your note, Mikal.

My wife and I saw PPM in the round at Westbury on Long Island in about 1988. I sang every word of every song that night with the 4 of you (PPM + Dick Kniss) and loved it so much we bought 4 tickets for the next night and brought the kids. They knew most of the words, too. What a joy to watch you live. Thank you, almost beyond words, for the music you added to my family's lives.

Thanks for signing the guestbook, Larry, and for that wonderful memory. Isn't it fascinating how multi-generational the songs of P,P&M are?! You picked the right word to sum up their concert performances, "Joy". Thanks also for remembering "the band", bass player, Dick Kniss. And how special that there were always songs that focused on the young, (and young-at-heart,) in the audience. Glad to hear that you and your family were among them.

As I sit here, I am watching and listening to the 25th Anniversary Special. I was born in the mid 1970s and introduced to PP&M via cassettes and LPs by my parents. I married in the 2000s and of course, had the Wedding Song played at the reception. Know that your music is now enjoyed by my children via CDs, LPs, and Amazon Music.

hi, we met many years ago. i was 17 at a concert in Asheville, NC. you invited me to come with you to a press interview because we were in the middle of an intense conversation about heaven. we talked about spiritual things for about 40 minutes. I have thought of you often over the years.

Hey, Noel! I love the new website and, of course, Fazz. Like a lot of other folks here, we've crossed paths at many times, places, and in many ways through the years. Thanks for the after-concert pics, chat, autographs, and most of all, the music and its meaning(s). Glad to be part of the conspiracy of coincidence that still brings the folk family together after all these years!

I'm 75 now, and I've always been a big fan. I saw you at Hershey, Pa, when I was a junior in High School, and I've been hooked ever since. I have a question: who played the third guitar on the recorded version of "Early Morning Rain?" I've seen the video of your BBC concert, and with the two guitars only, it doesn't sound the same. That third guitar part is what makes it sparkle. My son, who generally only likes rock and jazz music, agrees with me that it's our favorite song. We both play guitar. How did you... Read more

hi bill! pretty sure that was bruce langhorne who came up with that signature lick on EARLY MORNING RAIN. sweetheart of a guy with barely 3 fingers on his right hand. he was a monster player for a lot of folks in the 60's - you can see him in newsreels playing with odetta @ the lincoln memorial during the civil rights march. understand there's a documentary on him in the works.

A few weeks ago I binge watched Peter Paul and Mary concerts, and this isn't the first time I've done this. I researched the group . Each individual of the group is unique in their own way. After I learned there was a website from you, I had to go there. I loved folk music in my teens and still do in my mid sixties. These concerts still gave me chills to watch. Thank you for inviting me to your guest book. You're amazing still.... even if you HAVE NEVER BEEN KISSED!.. one of my many favorite songs.

It's really great to have so many P,P&M concerts available to see, (let alone binge watch,) and still have such an effect on good folks like you, Teresa. Glad you were able to navigate to the website and sign the guestbook. And thanks for your kind words, too.

I just listened to the wonderful interview with you at https://dittytv.com/radio/ and ordered Fazz. Noel, I can't tell you how significantly you have impacted my life from 10 year-old me to 67 year-old me. You have been both a musical and spiritual mentor to me in many ways. So much gratitude. Looking forward to the new record.

Yes, that DittyTV interview was quite good. It always helps when the host is a musician and can appreciate things like the craftsmanship of a David LaPlante guitar. And thanks for expressing your gratitude for Noel's influence. I know it means a lot to him. Hope you like the new music, Roger.

Thank you for the decades of music and created memories. Have seen you several times and enjoyed each experience. I know the only path is forward for us all, but it gives me comfort to know that musicians like you continue to give so much pleasure and recollection of years gone by that often held better days. Music can be the beauty we all look forward to remembering and hold dear in our hearts. What is the most challenging part of creating new music?

...appreciate the encouragement. the most challenging aspect of songwriting is staying out of the way. seriously. of course there's some degree of 'interpretation' required but honestly, if an idea or concern presents itself musically and has merit, it pretty much writes itself.

I learned to play in 1964 by the Peter, Paul and Mary guitar book. Had to purchase a 2nd on Ebay because I wore it out. Loved Bodyworks and have seen you, body works, the trio and the duo many many times. And yes, when you and Peter perform, you can hear Mary. You just can. Thank you for the love of God that shines through you, Noel. You are truly a blessing.

Very nice to see such a dedicated guitar player making use of multiple copies of the P,P & M guitar book. Sounds like you've followed the many facets of Noel's long career over the years. Also nice to know his comment in concerts with Peter, about hearing Mary, resonates with you as well. And thank you for your warm regards, Emma Lee.

Hello Noel. I have enjoyed your music (and humor) for 55+ years. I was fortunate enough to have seen PP&M in concert numerous times in Southern Calif. and Las Vegas. Thanks to Shelly, we were able to come back and say hi after most of them. You won't remember, but after the concert in Escondido, CA, you came over to my family and called my daughters by name (thanks to an email I had sent you a few days before). It totally blew them away. and is something that they never forgot. I wish you much continued success and happiness.

You are nothing short of amazing! Peg and I used to see PP&M all over the country. She's gone on with Mary but I'm still here. Still enjoying your music, old and new. In These Times, Jean Claude, too many to list. Things are so different now with age and covid, but you're a constant in my world. Thank you.

Thanks for the generous compliment, Kathy. The music has really held up well over the years. So much of the early work still sounds fresh and meaningful as exemplified with the tracks on FAZZ:Now & Then. Hopefully covid will be in the rear-view mirror soon. Thanks for keeping Noel and his music as part of your world.
